1. Shorts , tops , short skirts and ope-toed sandals are considered inappropriate when entering a temple or religious shrine and some official place.

2. Do not shoes inside a temple where Buddha images are kept and in the people house.

3. Avoid placing your feet on the table while sitting , and do not point at things or people with your feet.

4. Thais do not shake hands; they 'wai' - a gesture made by placing your hands together in front of your face and bowing a little.

5. Time Zone : There is only one time zone in Thailand : +7 hrs GMT.

6. Postal Services : Post Offices are open from 09:00 until 15:30 hrs.

7. Business Hours : Government hours are 08:30 until 16:00 , Monday t0 Friday. Many shops and stores are open 12 hours a day, everyday.
